The health values you enter stay on your device. This page explains the little information we do handle, and the choices you have.

Overview
This policy explains how Health ICU (https://www.health-icu.com) handles information when you use the website and its tools. “Health ICU”, “we” and “us” refer to the people who run the site.
In short: the values you enter in a Health ICU calculator, such as your weight, height, age or dates, are worked out by your own browser and are never sent to us. We only receive information you choose to send, such as a message through the contact form. Analytics and advertising are off unless you turn them on.
Who runs Health ICU
For privacy questions or requests about Health ICU (https://www.health-icu.com), email privacy@health-icu.com. This address reaches the people who run the site.
This policy applies to the Health ICU website and its tools, wherever you use them from. Some of the rights below depend on the law of the place where you live.
Information we handle
What you enter in the calculators
Every current calculator runs in your browser. What you enter, including health information such as weight, height, age, cycle or pregnancy dates and blood glucose values, is used on your device to show the result and is not sent to Health ICU. We cannot see, keep or share it, and it is not saved when you leave the page. Running in your browser does not mean the page makes no network requests: pages, code and fonts are downloaded from this website, and the optional services described below load only if you allow them. The next section lists each calculator and how it works.
Contact form messages
If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, subject and message. They are delivered to our inbox by email and are not stored in a database on the website. We use them only to reply to you. To block spam, the form also checks a hidden field and how long the form was open before it was sent, and uses Cloudflare Turnstile.
We also send you a one-time confirmation email at the address you entered, through our email provider Resend. It does not contain a copy of your message.
Emails you send us
If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message, and use it only to respond.
Your cookie choice
Your analytics and advertising choice is saved in your browser's local storage so we can remember it on your next visit. It stays on your device. See the Cookie Policy for details.
Your language choice
If you pick a language in the language menu, or answer the language suggestion, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so we can respect it on later visits. When none of your browser's languages matches one of ours, the English homepage may ask our server which country your connection comes from. Cloudflare works this out from your IP address, and only the two-letter country code is returned to your browser. We do not log or store that answer.
Technical data
Like any website, pages are delivered over the internet by our hosting provider, Cloudflare. To do this, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, the page requested and your browser type, and may keep short-lived logs for security and reliability. We do not use this data to identify you or build a profile of you.
Cloudflare also counts page views and measures how fast pages load, with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not identify you.
Ratings
After you use a tool, on this website or in the Health ICU app, you can rate it, and Health ICU itself, from 1 to 5 stars. We store what was rated, the number of stars, the language, whether it came from the website or the app (with the app version) and the time, with no name, account, comment or file. So that each browser and each app installation can rate each item only once, it creates a random number the first time it rates and sends it with every rating. We keep only a one-way code made from that number, which cannot be turned back into it or linked to you. To prevent abuse, a one-way code of your IP address is kept for two days; the IP address itself is never stored. On the website, each rating is also checked in the background with Cloudflare Turnstile, which helps tell people from automated programs; nothing is shown to you. You can delete every rating given from this browser with the button below, and from the app in its Settings. Records of rating activity, without that code once you delete your ratings, are kept for 12 months for security. The average rating of each tool is shown on the site and to search engines once it has a few ratings.
How each calculator works
In your browser means your device does all the work and what you enter never leaves it. On a server means your entries would be sent to work out the result. This list is generated automatically from our list of calculators, so it is always current.
Every calculator runs entirely in your browser. None sends what you enter to a server.

Legal bases
Where the EU or UK GDPR or a similar law applies, we rely on: your consent for analytics and advertising, which you can withdraw at any time; our legitimate interest in running, securing and protecting the site from abuse, which covers hosting, security logs and the contact form's spam checks; and our legitimate interest in answering the messages you send us.
How long we keep information
- What you enter in the calculators: never received by us, so there is nothing for us to keep or delete. Your browser holds the values only while the page is open.
- Contact messages and emails: kept only as long as we need them to answer you and handle any follow-up. You can ask us to delete your message at any time by emailing privacy@health-icu.com.
- Your cookie choice: kept in your browser until you change it or clear your browser data.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages and calculators are used, so we can improve them. It only loads after you allow analytics, and it stops if you withdraw consent. If you allow it, Google Analytics sets cookies with a random identifier and records the pages you view, your browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address; Google says Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We turn off Google signals and ad personalization for our Analytics data, and Google keeps this data for no more than 14 months. It never receives the values you enter in the calculators.
Advertising
We do not currently show ads, and no ad scripts are loaded. If we add advertising, it will only appear after you allow it, and we will update this policy first. Ads never have access to the values you enter in the calculators.

Each of these providers handles data under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it except with these providers to run the site.
International transfers
Our providers operate worldwide, so technical data and messages you send us may be processed outside your country. Where the law requires it, we rely on the safeguards these providers offer for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS and uses standard browser security headers. Because the calculators run in your browser, what you enter never travels across the internet to us. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot protect against problems on your own device, such as malware or untrusted browser extensions, so take care when entering personal information on shared computers.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to receive a copy of it, to restrict or object to how it is used, and to withdraw consent. These rights are not absolute and depend on the law that applies to you.
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: you can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the one in the country where you live or, in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office.
- US states with privacy laws, such as California: you may have the right to know, correct and delete personal information and to opt out of its sale, its sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, or targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. If personalized ads are shown, that could count as sharing under some of these laws, so you can opt out by turning off advertising in Cookie Settings, and we treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a request not to personalize ads. Using these rights will not change how the site works for you.
- Other regions, such as the United Arab Emirates under its Personal Data Protection Law, may give you similar rights. Contact us and we will respond as the law that applies to you requires.
- Change or withdraw your cookie choice at any time with Cookie Settings.
- For any other request, email privacy@health-icu.com from the address you used to contact us. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we cannot link analytics or advertising identifiers to you without information you give us. We aim to reply within 30 days, or sooner where the law requires.
Children
Health ICU is a general-audience site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or under the higher age set by the law where they live (for example 16 in some EU countries) without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email privacy@health-icu.com and we will delete it.
