Accepting these terms

These terms apply to your use of Health ICU (https://www.health-icu.com). By using the site you agree to them, and to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The service

Health ICU offers free calculators and unit converters for everyday health questions, such as weight, nutrition, fitness, menstrual cycles, pregnancy and sleep. No account is needed. Calculators run in your browser, and the Privacy Policy lists how each one works. We may add, change or remove calculators at any time.

Acceptable use

When using Health ICU, you agree not to:

• break the law or infringe anyone else's rights, including copyright and privacy;
• disrupt, overload or attack the site, scrape it at a harmful volume, or test it for security weaknesses without our permission;
• use the contact form to send spam, malware or unlawful content;
• get around security measures, rate limits or other technical restrictions, or send automated requests that put an unreasonable load on the service;
• interfere with the site's advertising or consent features.

Your responsibilities

• Use results as a guide. They are estimates for general information. Do not use them to diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, or to change medicines, diet or exercise for a medical reason without professional advice.
• Check what you enter. Results depend on the values and units you type; check them before you rely on a result or share it.
• Get professional help when it matters. If you are unwell, pregnant, under 18 or have a medical condition, ask a doctor or another qualified professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
• Look after your device. Keep your browser up to date and take care with personal information on shared or public computers.

Your information and our content

Your entries and results are yours. Because the calculators run in your browser, we never receive what you enter and claim no rights to it. If you send us a message, we use it only to reply to you and deal with your request, as described in the Privacy Policy.

The Health ICU name, logo, design and code belong to us. You may use the site as intended, but you may not copy or reuse them without our permission.

Service limitations

• Calculators accept values within set ranges, mostly for adults. Some do not suit children, pregnancy or certain medical conditions; each page says when.
• The calculators need a modern browser with JavaScript turned on.
• The site may sometimes be unavailable, slow or changed without notice. We do not guarantee any particular uptime.
• Every result is an estimate for general information only, based on published formulas and averages. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment plan, and it does not replace a doctor, midwife, dietitian or other qualified professional. Cycle, ovulation and fertile-day estimates are not a method of contraception.

Disclaimers

Health ICU is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we make no promises that the tools will be error-free, uninterrupted or secure, that they will suit a particular purpose, or that their results will be accurate or complete.

We do not control, and are not responsible for, third-party websites, services or ads that the site links to or shows.

Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, Health ICU and the people who run it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profits or business, that results from using or being unable to use the site.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, or affects rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using Health ICU at any time. We may limit or end access to the site, a tool or the contact form, with or without notice, if we believe these terms are being broken, to protect the site or other people, or if we change or close the service. The sections on your files and our content, disclaimers and liability continue to apply afterwards.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where Health ICU is operated. If you live in another country, you also keep any protections that its consumer laws give you and that cannot be excluded by agreement.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and important changes will be made clear on this page when they take effect. If you keep using the site after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply to that use, without affecting any rights the law gives you.
